Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 99

 Chapter 99: Secretly Smiling

Sisi smiled shyly. “You're flattering me. I'm afraid I'll get cold.”

Qin Yanci took out a scarf and draped it over her shoulders. “Wrap this around yourself on the way to block the wind.”

Sisi nodded.

Qin Yanci then took out a pair of bracelets and put them on her wrists. “Wear them.”

Sisi said, “You even prepared jewelry for me? The patterns are so delicate. What are they made of?” It looked like gold, but it wasn't.

The gold in the department store counters was brighter than this.

“Gold. What? Do you think it's old?” His face turned cold again.

“No, no, no. I'm just curious about the material. I like it. I can't wait to wear it.” Sisi hurriedly explained. She knew she was lacking in knowledge and didn't know much, but she could appreciate good things. The bracelets were old, but the patterns carved on them were very fine.

They might have faded with age.

Was it a family heirloom?

She added, “I'll wear them every day.”

Qin Yanci was finally satisfied. “Hmm.”

“I'll start making clothes.” Sisi sat down at the sewing machine and got to work.

She stretched when she finished.

She looked up and met Qin Yanci's eyes.

He calmly looked away. “Done?”

“Yeah. I should go too.” Sisi changed into her new cotton coat and pants, said goodbye to Qin Yanci, took her wedding outfit and shoes, and left.

She felt the wind couldn't penetrate the new cotton coat and pants.

She was finally relieved. She packed them up and sent them back to her hometown.

She went back to the Li family's house.

Li Junlu and Song Hanmei had already gotten off work. They argued every other sentence about Li Yuwei's situation.

Song Hanmei's idea was to have Feng Shuangxi move in.

Li Junlu disagreed. “I would rather have a bum move in than a rogue.”

Ying Sisi agreed.

Rogues have no bottom line. You can't get involved with them.

Song Hanmei cleared her throat. “Yuwei insists on being with him. What do you think we should do?”

“Let her marry him. I've said it before, if she marries Feng Shuangxi, she doesn't get any dowry.”

“You're willing to give it to Sisi, but you're not willing to give it to Yuwei?”

“Neither of them are getting anything. Are you satisfied?!” Li Junlu roared.

Song Hanmei didn't say anything.

What she wanted was for Ying Sisi to have nothing. At that moment, she turned her head, as if she had just noticed Sisi. “Oh, when did you start listening?”

Li Junlu turned around. The girl's innocent and forlorn expression made him feel guilty. He walked over and tried to comfort her. “Sisi…”

Sisi said nothing. She went into her room and shut the door.

The door panel almost hit him in the nose.

Li Junlu touched his nose and stepped back. “Sisi, I was just talking. I'll pick out a dowry for you after we're done with these things.”

“Don't make promises anymore. I don't believe you anymore. Wuu wuu… My life is so hard. Why didn't my mom take me with her when she left?”

Li Junlu felt guilty and angrily slapped the person who had caused this.

There was a loud slap.

Song Hanmei's face was twisted to the side. She yelled hysterically. “Li Junlu! How dare you hit me. I'll fight you!”

“You spendthrift. Who is afraid of you?!”

Sisi listened to the loud noises in her ears and smiled secretly.

Go ahead and hit each other.

Hit each other to death.

Humph!

In the following few days, Li Junlu and Song Hanmei were in a cold war.

It wasn't until the day of Ying Sisi's wedding that relatives came to the house and their relationship eased.

Li Yuwei was finally allowed to go out. She dressed up and went to Sisi's room.

Sisi had already changed clothes, put on makeup, and her hair was tied with a red ribbon, braided into a diagonal braid that hung over her right chest.

Her eyebrows were curved and she was bright and beautiful.

There were many neighbors around, adults and children alike.

Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Heeding His Wife's Advice   Qin Yanci looked down at her, her expression shifting between worry and amusement.   When worried, her brows furrowed slightly, making her appear vulnerable and helpless, like a moon reflected in water, fragmented and round, inexplicably evoking a sense of pity.   When she smiled, her eyes sparkled like shimmering waves.   At first glance, she was beautiful.   Upon closer inspection, even more beautiful.   Such a beautiful woman was his wife.   He was in a good mood. “After getting the marriage license, are you happy or not?”   Ying Sisi looked up and smiled. “Happy, very happy.” Saying otherwise would spoil the mood.   They arrived at their destination.   Ying Sisi realized that Qin Yanci had brought her to the family housing complex where Qin's father worked.   It was a row of houses.   Qin's father lived in the third building, third floor, the first apartment, number 301.  ...

Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 18

Chapter 18:  Foresight   “You can't have your cake and eat it too. Everything involves trade-offs. Aci is an adult; he must have considered what he would miss by choosing to go to university, right, Aci?”   Ying Sisi's voice was gentle and soft, like a warm spring breeze, slowly blowing into the young man's heart.   He smiled at her. “Yes.”   Qin's father's deep gaze swept over Qin Yanci, finally resting on Ying Sisi. Most women, if they knew their husband was giving up a stable job for an uncertain future, would have lost their minds. But she didn't argue or make a fuss; she calmly analyzed the situation.   She had some foresight.   “Your father said you haven't studied much, but you understand the principles just as well.”   Ying Sisi felt embarrassed. “I learned from listening to the elders in the village. Don't laugh at me if I'm wrong.”   “You learned well.”   As they were chatting, Qin's mother and Qin's elder brother, Qin Jin, ret...
