Chapter 136: Familiar
As they walked home after visiting the ancient city, they passed by a cinema. They went inside and watched a movie.
When they came out of the cinema.
“Qin Yanci!” A clear voice came from behind.
Qin Yanci and Ying Sisi both turned their heads in the direction of the voice.
The person was wearing a black coat. He was around twenty years old, tall and handsome, with delicate features.
“Shen Zhengrong, hello. Long time no see.”
Shen Zhengrong said cordially, “Long time no see. Did you take a leave of absence and come back, or did you return to the city?”
“Returned to the city.” Qin Yanci couldn't wait to introduce Sisi. “This is my wife, her surname is Ying.”
Shen Zhengrong finally noticed Sisi. His gaze fell on her face. He was startled. She's so beautiful, and she looks familiar. “Sister-in-law, hello.”
Ying Sisi smiled brightly. She said generously, “Hello.”
Shen Zhengrong pulled Qin Yanci aside and whispered, “When did you get a girlfriend? You were still single when I left.”
Qin Yanci said, “Before the new year.”
“Married?”
“Married.”
Shen Zhengrong gave him a thumbs-up. “You're efficient! What are you doing now?”
Qin Yanci replied, “I'm reviewing. I'm preparing for the college entrance exam.”
“If it hadn't been for someone locking you in the warehouse, you would be in college now. Did you find that person?”
“No.” Qin Yanci clenched his fist.
Shen Zhengrong said again, “Which university are you planning to go to?”
“Wherever I can get in.”
Shen Zhengrong invited them to dinner. Qin Yanci politely declined. “We'll get together when we have time.”
“Okay. Or you can come visit me at my house.” Shen Zhengrong said.
Qin Yanci said, “I don't know the address.”
Shen Zhengrong said angrily, “Hey! Didn't we exchange home addresses before? Did you forget? I still remember yours. You don't take me seriously, do you?”
“I forgot. You say it again. I'll remember this time.”
Shen Zhengrong said, “No. 88 Yuquan Road. Come visit me sometime.”
Qin Yanci replied, “Okay.”

After they parted ways.
Ying Sisi said, “Is he an educated youth who went to the countryside with you? What happened with you being locked in the warehouse?”
Qin Yanci explained. “He was assigned to our farm last summer. Because he was from the same place as me, he was assigned to the same dormitory as me. A few months later, the unified college entrance exam was restored. He was admitted to college and returned to the city. As for me, I was locked in the warehouse before the exam and missed it.”
Ying Sisi felt sorry for Qin Yanci. “Who's so evil? I curse them to be unlucky for the rest of their lives. Could it be him? You were locked up in the same dormitory. Didn't he say anything?”
“Two days before the exam, he was admitted to the hospital because he wasn't feeling well. He never returned to the dormitory. I heard that he fainted halfway through the last exam. If he had come back, I might have been able to catch up with the exam.”
“Ah? Could someone be trying to harm you two? But he persevered.”
“I thought so at the time, but I didn't have any evidence.”

They talked about it as they walked back to the courtyard. They stayed there for the night. The next morning, Qin Yanci went directly to his teacher's house to review. Ying Sisi went back to the family complex by herself.
She washed her underwear and hung it on the clothesline. She sat in the living room and watched TV to pass the time.
At nap time.
Li Junlu came to ask her to go back home. “Yuwei didn't know where to go after she got engaged yesterday. She came back all dusty and said her leg hurt. When she went to the hospital, they found that her ankle was fractured. Sigh, there have been so many things happening at home lately. Your aunt just recovered from a serious illness. I've been very busy with work lately. There's no one to take care of things at home. It's a mess. Can you go over there and help for a couple of days?”
Ying Sisi was in a difficult position.
If Li Junlu ordered her, she would have resolutely refused.
But he was asking her politely.
After thinking for a moment, she said, “I don't need to stay overnight. I'll go over there to do some things during the day and leave at night. But I have to wait until tomorrow.”
“Okay.” Li Junlu left.
