Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 96

 Chapter 96: Willing

Ying Sisi was stunned.

What?

She wasn't listening at all.  What should I do?

If I get it wrong.

He'll be angry, right?

She hooked her finger at him. When he got closer, she did what he did to her.  She kissed his lips.

Qin Yanci clenched the book in his hand, then threw it on the ground.

He took the lead.

After a long time, he let go of her and said playfully.  “Sisi, you weren't listening at all.”

Sisi smiled embarrassedly. “I never thought I would ever get so much money.  I lost my mind for a moment.  Don't be angry, okay?”

Qin Yanci's eyes flickered. “Who's angry?”

Sisi thought, You're not admitting it.

Okay, I'll give you an out. “I was mistaken.  Shall we go out for a walk?  It's too easy to lose control when we're in the same room.”

“Hmm.”

Sisi hid the money separately, locked the door, and went for a walk with Qin Yanci.

After a stroll.

He left.

Sisi went back the way she came.  As soon as she entered the house, she noticed someone was there.

Who came back?

She went back to her room and counted the money.

Her sharp ears suddenly heard a heavy panting sound.

She immediately thought of Qin Yanci.  Whenever he got close to her, his breathing would become heavy.

But Qin Yanci had already left.

Where was the panting coming from?

From Li Yuwei's room?

Li Yuwei's room window faced the courtyard.  She counted the money, hid it, and went to the yard to look.

The curtains were drawn tightly.  She couldn't see anything.

She put her ear against the window to listen.

When she was sure, she asked,  “Li Yuwei? Who are you panting with in your room?”

There was a thud.

Then a man groaned.  “Ow, ow.”

Sisi recognized Feng Shuangxi's voice. She deliberately shouted.  “Feng Shuangxi?  What are you doing in Yuwei's room? How did you get in? What are you doing?”

If any of the neighbors heard her.

They would come to see what was going on.

Then, Li Yuwei bringing a man home while her parents were at work would become gossip for everyone to talk about.

Her reputation was already bad. It would be even worse.

That's what she wanted.

Soon.

Feng Shuangxi came out of the room.  He had a cloth strip hanging from his neck and his wrist was in a cast. “Big, big sister… I, I know how to pick locks.”

Ying Sisi said, “…You know how to pick locks?  If we weren't home, wouldn't you be able to sneak in and steal things?”  Suddenly, she felt that her money was unsafe.  But where could she put it?

“How could I steal things from my own family?”  Feng Shuangxi hastily explained.

Li Yuwei came out at that moment. She glanced back and forth between the two of them.  “Second Brother Feng, are you scared of my sister?”

Feng Shuangxi puffed out his chest and looked at Sisi with pleading eyes. Then he said formally, “She's your sister.  I naturally respect her.”

Li Yuwei smiled.  I told you.

How could he be afraid of Sisi?

“Yuwei, you're not at work today?”  It was Auntie Cheng, who had come in from outside.

She had failed to borrow vegetables and held a grudge against Li Junlu.  She saw Li Yuwei and Feng Shuangxi together and scrutinized them.  She had heard Sisi's words, and she started to speculate about the details of Li Yuwei and Feng Shuangxi's panting from an experienced perspective.

“I didn't go today.  There's not much to do at work after the New Year.”  Li Yuwei excused herself.

“When are you getting married?”

“We haven't decided yet.” Li Yuwei wanted to get married soon, but her parents kept saying they were still discussing it.

Now her job was gone.

It would be a while before she could get married.

Ugh…

So annoying.

It seemed like she had been unlucky ever since Qin Yanci came back.

Was it karma for forcibly changing her destiny?

Transmigrated to a Prehistoric Tribe to Farm and Build Infrastructure - Chapter 01

Chapter 01: Male, Will You Marry Me?   This wasn't a dilapidated shack?!   Changxia stared at the 50-60 square-foot earth-pit tent. Old animal hides were draped over branches, bound together with vines – simple and rustic. Changxia’s lips twitched uncontrollably; she could only feel speechless. The tribesmen who had brought her here had already left.   She put down her backpack, placing her belongings to the side, not hurrying to begin work.   There was no mistake; this would be her home for the rest of her life.   After silently appreciating it for a moment, Changxia turned to look at Chen Rong behind her. His face was pale, his gait weak and unsteady. One glance revealed his poor health.   “You stay outside, I’ll go in and clean up alone,” Changxia said.   “It’s fine, let me come in with you. This animal den hasn’t been lived in for a long time. Besides insects and ants, we need to check if the roof is rotting,” Chen Rong smiled slightly, e...

Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 38

Chapter 38: Worth a Thousand Gold       The door was unlocked.   Sisi had gotten up and was washing her face, applying face oil, when she heard someone calling “Wife” outside.   She opened the door to find Qin Yanci standing there.   Sisi's face lit up, and she greeted him sweetly, “A-Ci, what brings you here? Come in.”   Qin Yanci whispered, “It's about the stamps.”   “You traded them for money?” Sisi waited expectantly for his answer.   Qin Yanci said, “I wouldn't trade them without your consent.”   Sisi's heart skipped a beat. Being respected felt so good. She was eager to know the stamps' value. “How much are they worth?”   “Ten yuan.”   Sisi gasped in astonishment. Ten yuan? Over a hundred stamps, worth a thousand gold?   She was rich!   With this money, she could indulge in her buying and selling ventures.   She excitedly grabbed his hand. “Where did you trade them?”   Qin Yanci lowere...

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 13

Chapter 13: You Have a New Order Of course, Chen Fan wouldn't argue with Keeper Huang. He thanked him profusely. He had brought a big bag of sweet potatoes, free of charge, how could he not express his gratitude? After seeing Keeper Huang off, he really didn't dare close the door again, so he just left the door slightly ajar, at least that would provide some cover. He went back into the room. He didn't even touch the tea he poured for Captain Yang. He picked it up and felt it. The temperature was just right, so he took a big gulp. It tasted pretty good, what kind of tea is this? He stood up and lifted the lid of the teapot. He saw two large leaves floating inside, about the size of a baby's palm. It turned out to be “ one-horse tea ”. “One-horse tea” refers to a type of tea where a single leaf can be used to make a pot of tea. Some places also call it “ three-horse tea ”. These leaves are not actually tea leaves, but they are harvested from fresh “ HuBei Hawthorn ” lea...
