Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 95

 Chapter 95: Stamps

Mother Qin was about to pay, but Sisi stopped her and paid first.

“You're so polite with me, child.”

Ying Sisi laughed. “They're gifts. How can I let you pay?”

“Didn't your dad say your grandparents are both gone?”

Ying Sisi explained. “It's not them. It's a grandma in the countryside. She has taught me and guided me since I was little. I am who I am today thanks to her. I've been in the city for a few months. I don't know how she is.”

“If you're really worried about her, have Yanci take you back to see her after you get married.”

Ying Sisi had thought about that too.

The mother and daughter-in-law chatted and shopped.

They separated after buying everything.

When Sisi got home.

A used bicycle was parked in the courtyard. She recognized it as father Qin's.

She was puzzled about how he got the key to the front door.

She called out tentatively, “Dad?”

Qin Yanci came out.

Ying Sisi smiled. “A-Ci, why are you here? I thought it was your dad. I was wondering how he could open our door.”

“He's not free to come. What did you buy?”

Ying Sisi said, “Fabric. Why are you free today? Didn't we agree to not see each other before the wedding?”

Qin Yanci's eyes dimmed, and his whole body became cold. “Should I leave?”

Ying Sisi wanted to cut out her tongue. She knew he was moody and suspicious. What I said sounded like I was chasing him away. She hugged his arm. “Don't go. Actually, I wanted to see you. I made meat dumplings last night and I was going to send them to you, but then Auntie said she would save them for Yuwei. I was mad about it for a while.”

Qin Yanci's mood softened. “Hmm.”

Ying Sisi pulled him into the house and took out the books he had given her. “I've been reading these books every day. I've already flipped through over ten pages. The circles I marked are all the things I don't understand. Can you explain them to me?”

Qin Yanci closed the book. “Wait a minute.” He took a thick envelope out of his pocket. “Your stamps sold. Just right…”

Ying Sisi covered his mouth.

Li Yuwei was just through the wall. What if she heard?

Qin Yanci's expression froze.

The girl's skin on the palm of her hand had calluses, it was against his cheek, it was itchy.

He took a light breath. The smell of the snow cream on her hands filled his nostrils.

His heart skipped a beat.

Unconsciously, he reached out to grab her wrist, ready to pull her onto his lap.

The next second, she took her hand away.

“Li Yuwei's home.” Sisi said deliberately in a low voice.

Qin Yanci nodded slightly. He said in a voice that only they could hear, “One thousand yuan. Count it.”

Ying Sisi's eyes lit up. One thousand yuan?

She only took a look and quickly put it back in the envelope.

What a thick stack of bills.

“You're really my lucky star.” Sisi smiled, showing her white teeth.

Qin Yanci's lips curled up slightly. “Not counting it?”

Ying Sisi said firmly, “I only count money from people I don't trust. You're my boyfriend, the person I trust most in this life. I won't count it.” I'll count it when you leave. “Tell me, how did you sell it?”

She thought he wouldn't be willing to sell them.

After all, those stamps were all pretty.

For him, who had researched and collected stamps, they were considered treasures.

“It's not convenient to say too much now. I'll tell you when it's appropriate.” Qin Yanci reopened the book and explained the things Sisi didn't understand.

Ying Sisi's mind was full of the money in the envelope.

How could she concentrate on her lessons?

After a long time, she heard him say, “Wife, do you understand?”

Ying Sisi nodded mechanically. “I understand.”

Qin Yanci smiled. His tone was slightly cool. “Then I'll test you. Tennis, polo, and golf. What are they?”

Chapter 06: Keep Your Distance   After making a mental note of it, Accountant Liu took out a small notebook from his pocket and started to register Chen Fan's information.   "Chen Fan, born on the first day of the twelfth lunar month, 1960,"   He then looked up, "Where's your registered residence?"   He, the accountant, not only calculated money and goods but also people. All the population information for the brigade was collected and submitted by him.   Chen Fan looked at him with a blank expression. Why is this happening again?   Seeing Chen Fan's expression, Accountant Liu immediately realized his mistake and chuckled, "Haha, just fill it in here for now."   He then wrote down as he read, "Temporary residence, Sixth Brigade, Lujiawan Production Team, Nanhu Commune, Gufeng County, Yunhu Region, Jiangnan Province."   He also muttered to himself, "Almost got confused by that damn Chen Ergou. I forgot this boy doesn't remembe...

She asks in disbelief, “Fu Guanxian, are you kidding me? When did Xingrou get together with Lian Rui?”   “Four months ago, I think.” Fu Guanxian thinks for a moment and replies.   Fu Guanxian sits down next to her. Translator's Note:  It was my birthday yesterday, so I'll be releasing three chapters today, between 6 AM and 6 PM. Happy reading!!! 1/3   Chapter 83: Unease     Father Qin's words once again got through to mother Qin.   “You're really good at analyzing.”    Father Qin smiled.  “Remember that.”   “I'll remember.”   After father Qin left, mother Qin took Song Hanmei and her daughter to the family housing complex.   The door was locked.   She knocked twice gently, giving the person inside a heads-up.  “Yanci, it's me.”   After a long time, Qin Yanci's husky voice came from inside. “What are you doing here?”   Song Hanmei said loudly, “Why does your voice sound like that?  Didn't you two stay up all night and not sleep?”   Mother Qin turned to look at Song Hanmei.  It was exactly as Old Qin had predicted.  She reprimanded softly.  “In-law, it's early in the morning. There are people coming a...
