The next day was New Year's Eve.
Sisi got up early to paste up window decorations. The red paper got stuck on the new glass, and she thought of Qin Yanci.

Li Yuwei's eyes darted back and forth. She greeted Song Hanmei and followed Sisi.
She saw Sisi get on the tram and then squeezed into the crowd behind her.
After going around for a while, she arrived at the entrance to the family housing complex for the government workers.
She watched as Sisi walked through the security gate without a care.
She did the same.
As soon as she approached the gate, the security guard stopped her. He was polite but firm. “Comrade, please show your ID.”
“Why didn't the person who just came in show her ID?”
“She's a family member.”

“I'm the sister of the girl who just came in. Don't block my way, or I'll have my sister deal with you.” Li Yuwei, pretending to have authority, used Sisi as a shield.
“Please show your ID! Or don't blame me for being rude.” The security guard's voice became more serious.

Sisi opened the door and went into the house. It was quiet.

The bathroom was brand new, with all new toiletries. One of the two bedrooms had an extra new desk and bookshelf.
The books were neatly arranged on the shelves.
The bed in the master bedroom was also new.

It was very festive.
She looked around.
She sat down on the bed and noticed something under the covers. She lifted them up and found longan and peanuts.
She couldn't help but smile.
Was it a symbol of having children soon?
She couldn't help but blush when she thought that he would be the father of her children.
Since A-Ci was not here.
She should leave.
She didn't want to overthink things.
She locked the door and left.
As she walked from the security gate to the nearby platform to wait for the tram, Li Yuwei appeared. She pretended to be surprised.
“Sister, how did you get here?”
Sisi raised an eyelid and said expressionlessly, “I knew you were following me.”
