Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 122

 Chapter 122: Even

Li Yuwei was in pain all over. “Wuwuwu…why didn't you say that he would hit people anyway?”

“Why wouldn't he hit me?”

“Would you dare to say that if he hit you?” Li Yuwei cried uncontrollably.

“He hasn't hit me before, what am I supposed to say?  You go.  I'll walk you out.”  Sisi went into the kitchen and turned off the vent on the stove.

Li Yuwei didn't dare to stay long. She put on her coat and limped out with Sisi.

When they got to the security gate.

Ying Sisi was about to go back. Li Yuwei said pitifully, “Aren't you going to see me off?”

Ying Sisi said, “Seeing you off to here is enough. Give me your pass.  Otherwise, I'll tell my mother-in-law that Qin Yanci hit you. She loves her son the most.  She'll blame you, regardless of whether or not it was your fault. She'll go and find your dad, and then it'll become a big deal.”

Li Yuwei dared not hide it anymore.  She took out her pass and admitted,  “I got the pass from his mom.”

As expected.  Only my in-laws have passes.  My father-in-law is at the restaurant.

Li Yuwei can only come in if she asks her mother-in-law for help.  Sisi took the pass and prepared to go back.

Li Yuwei's mood had calmed down. Hatred surged.  My beating can't be in vain. I'm going to tell Sisi, Qin Yanci's secret and get her to fight with him.

But if I tell her directly, I'm afraid she won't believe me.  So she first asked a question. “Didn't you think it was strange that he used to wear glasses?”

As soon as Sisi heard that Li Yuwei was trying to stir up trouble again, she got angry. “It's none of your business if he's strange.  I love his strangeness.  He hit you. You really don't deserve it. I'm not saying it, but you're always looking for trouble.  I want to punch you too.  Go quickly. Don't come back.”

I'm so annoyed!

You won't let me live peacefully if you don't talk bad about my man?

“Did A-Ci dig up your ancestors in his last life?  Can't you pick someone else to target?”  She continued, “Compared to A-Ci, you're the weird one.  You clearly like rich people, but you're trying to marry that poor Feng Shuangxi. You're so sure he'll be successful.  What's going on, can you tell fortunes? Can you see the future?”

Li Yuwei was speechless.

Ying Sisi sneered. “You can't even make up a good excuse?  If you dare to say anything bad about my man again, I'll tell your dad.  If he doesn't care, I'll tell my in-laws and have them talk to your dad.” She left.

Li Yuwei stomped her foot, pulling on her injured leg. She gasped.

She cursed, “You stupid cow! Qin Yanci hit me in front of you. Aren't you afraid that one day it'll be your turn? I guess a slap doesn't hurt until it hits your face. You'll cry one day!”

Ying Sisi ran back.  “You're the stupid one!  In my case, I only beat up other people.  Getting beaten is a huge joke.  Please don't keep imagining that I'm getting beaten.  Stop saying things like A-Ci has mental problems, he has physical problems, and other nonsense.  He's fine!”

Li Yuwei said, “…You're so stubborn.”

Ying Sisi: “…………”

Sisi went back home.

When she opened the door, she ran into her neighbor across the hall.  “Sisi, what were you guys doing in your house just now?  It was so loud. It sounded like a fight.”

Ying Sisi smiled calmly. “We were moving the tables and chairs.  I tripped and fell and cried.  Auntie, where are you going?”

“Visiting someone.”

“Then you go ahead. We'll chat another time.” Sisi closed the door, went into the kitchen first and opened the wind baffle of the stove.  Then she opened the door to her room. Qin Yanci was facing the door.

When he saw Sisi, he asked with concern, “My dear wife, is your shoulder still hurting?”

Ying Sisi touched her shoulder. It felt better. She looked at him with a pitiful expression.  “It hurts~”

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 16

Chapter 16: Adding Fuel to the Fire     He summoned the character panel, and the contents had indeed changed. It's real?   Is this skill legitimate?   Chen Fan looked at the big yellow dog that was still barking. Now the dog's barking sounded different to him.   "Scram." "Scram." "Scram."   Oh, Chen Fan understood. It was telling him to go away.   He hesitated for two seconds, then tentatively barked at the dog twice, "Woof woof."   Hmm?   The big yellow dog was immediately stunned.   He said he wouldn't leave?   After realizing this, the dog got angry. Its intelligence, equivalent to a human child of six or seven years old, didn't allow for much complex thought.  I told him to leave, but he wouldn't. How can I let him get away with this? If I let him go, will the master let me go?   It immediately lowered its body, preparing to attack.   Chen Fan saw this, and quickly barked again, "Woof woof."   The bi...

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 24

Translator's Notes: I will be updating this to 2 chapters/week. It's for those few readers who still keep reading this. Enjoy reading!!!   2/2 Chapter 24: A Long Day     In any case, improving physical fitness is a good thing.   If only I could increase my strength someday. With only 5 points of strength, I'm practically "too weak to truss a chicken." In this production team where women are as strong as men and men are as strong as donkeys, it makes it hard for a grown man to hold his head high.   Chen Fan sat happily on the chair, watching Jiang Lili busy herself, when he suddenly thought of a question. "Hey, Xiao Jiang, isn't this place called Lujiawan? How come I haven't heard of anyone with the surname Lu?"   Generally speaking, places named after surnames usually have a large clan with that surname, but today he had listened for half a day and heard people with the surnames Yang, Liu, and Huang. There was also a barefoot doctor with the surn...

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 31

Chapter 31: Promote It a Little     Chen Fan watched Jiang Lili laboriously pulling at the cotton cloth, and recalling her words, he couldn't help but twitch his lips slightly.   That's right, labor is cheap these days, but goods are valuable, especially industrial products.   Things like those hard plastic sandals that nobody wanted in later generations were quite valuable these days, costing several yuan a pair.   And then there were the "national hit" Warrior (回力鞋) shoes of the 70s, costing 8 to 10 yuan a pair. The larger the size, the more expensive they are. The cheapest size 38s were 8.87 yuan, while the most expensive size 43s were 10.02 yuan. That was equivalent to half a month's net income for a strong laborer in Team 6 of Lujiawan this year.   If it were leather shoes, they would be even more ridiculously expensive.   So, ordinary families in this era were still accustomed to making their own shoes or buying the cheapest cloth shoes. ...
