Chapter 121: Soothing
Qin Yanci sat in Sisi's seat, next to Li Yuwei.
Li Yuwei's heart skipped a beat. “You…what are you trying to do?”
Qin Yanci didn't say anything, his gaze fixed on her.
Li Yuwei pursed her lips. “What are you looking at?! I know, I'm prettier than my sister, but you can't…”
Qin Yanci scoffed. Who gave her that confidence? If I had that confidence, it would be great. “Didn't anyone tell you that you're a bit…uneven?”
This was the first time Li Yuwei had been described as uneven. She was furious. “You…you have no taste, you don't understand beauty.”
Qin Yanci smiled slightly. A hint of danger flashed in his eyes. “I do not understand beauty, but I understand ugliness.”
Li Yuwei went ballistic. “You! You! Do you believe me if I tell my sister that you have two personalities?”

She quickly stepped forward and hugged his waist tightly, pulling him back. “What happened? A-Ci, calm down. Yuwei, you run!” You're lying there letting him beat you, you're an idiot.
Li Yuwei was kicked in the calf. She couldn't stand.
She cried miserably.
Qin Yanci seemed to get excited. He couldn't kick her, so he started to pry Sisi's arms away from his waist.
Ying Sisi resisted with all her might. She pulled and dragged him into the room. “A-Ci, what's wrong?”

He's so strong. His hands are like pliers. They're going to break my wrists.
If we fight, I can't beat him unless I attack him by surprise.
“I'm going to kill her.” Qin Yanci shook his head.
Ying Sisi didn't stop in time and bumped into the wall. She cried out in pain.
Qin Yanci instantly regained his composure. He stepped forward to check on her. “My dear wife, are you…are you hurt? Don't be afraid. I won't hit anyone.”
Ying Sisi's shoulder was burning. She pulled her sweater and her skin was red.
Qin Yanci's heart ached. His hatred for Li Yuwei grew even stronger. He said, suppressing his emotions, “I didn't mean to.”
“What happened? How did you suddenly start fighting with Li Yuwei?”
Qin Yanci clenched his fist. “She called me crazy.”
Ying Sisi was indignant. “She's the one who is crazy. She's not only crazy, her personality is also incomplete. She has no morals and no character. She's a nutcase. A-Ci, we normal people, don't bother with her.”
“If she says anything bad about me again, will you believe her?” Qin Yanci looked at her intently.
“I won't believe her. I won't believe a word she says.” Sisi, in order to calm him down quickly, made her stance clear. “I only believe what you say.”
Qin Yanci was slightly reassured.
Ying Sisi tiptoed up to him and lightly pecked his cheek. “Stay here for a while. I'll go out and take a look. I picked some peaches from the forest today and saved them for you. They're under the kitchen cabinet. Don't let her steal them.”
Qin Yanci touched his cheek. He finally smiled. “Okay.”
Ying Sisi breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, I've calmed him down. Damn Li Yuwei, she knew he would hit her, why did she do that?
She worried that Qin Yanci would come out and hit her, so she locked the door from the outside.
In the living room, Li Yuwei was sitting on the ground, holding her head and crying.
Ying Sisi said angrily, “You're still crying. If you hadn't provoked him, he wouldn't have hit you.”
