Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Heeding His Wife's Advice

Qin Yanci looked down at her, her expression shifting between worry and amusement.

When worried, her brows furrowed slightly, making her appear vulnerable and helpless, like a moon reflected in water, fragmented and round, inexplicably evoking a sense of pity.

When she smiled, her eyes sparkled like shimmering waves.

At first glance, she was beautiful.

Upon closer inspection, even more beautiful.

Such a beautiful woman was his wife.

He was in a good mood. “After getting the marriage license, are you happy or not?”

Ying Sisi looked up and smiled. “Happy, very happy.” Saying otherwise would spoil the mood.

They arrived at their destination.

Ying Sisi realized that Qin Yanci had brought her to the family housing complex where Qin's father worked.

It was a row of houses.

Qin's father lived in the third building, third floor, the first apartment, number 301.

After entering the house, Ying Sisi looked around.

The house was a little messy.

The walls were snow-white, and the dark red furniture, though simple, was complete. There was a calendar with pictures of people on the door.

There were two bedrooms, one large and one small, with empty beds.

The kitchen had no pots; a few aluminum lunch boxes were scattered on the stove.

The bathroom, however, was fully stocked with toiletries.

From Qin Yanci's words, it seemed they would be living here after their marriage.

Ying Sisi said, “If we live here, will it be convenient for your father to commute to work?”

“He also has a single room in the dormitory,” Qin Yanci replied. “Do you like it?”

“Yes!” Ying Sisi certainly liked it.

It would just be the two of them, peaceful and comfortable.

Qin Yanci's lips curved into a slight smile. It was worth the effort he'd put in.

Yesterday, after his father got off work, his mother mentioned getting a new house for their wedding, and his sister-in-law said that it was more lively for many people to live together, and that living separately would be awkward and cause gossip among the neighbors.

What a joke.

What right did she have to say it was more lively to live together?

And what did his neighbors' opinions matter to him?

Thankfully, his wife had said those words before leaving, and he had repeated them verbatim to his family.

That shut her up.

His father immediately offered to house him in a unit apartment, and his work was also settled.

He would be working at the geological survey team.

But he wasn't interested.

He wanted to go to university.

He decided to share this with his wife and see what she thought.

“The geological survey team offers stable work. Going to university is difficult; it's been ten years since I last touched a textbook, and I've forgotten most of what I learned. If it were you, what would you choose?”

After some thought, Ying Sisi said, “I would choose university. With a degree, you'll have more options. You're a high school graduate, you have a knowledge base, and your chances of getting in are higher than most.

I don't know much about the survey team, but it sounds prestigious. However, I think stability means stagnation. Wouldn't a predictable life be boring? Or are you interested in this job? If you are, then it's worth doing.”

The girl was young.

Her voice was slightly childish, but her expression was extremely serious.

It seemed she had given it careful consideration.

Qin Yanci was very pleased. He said, “I'm not interested. Studying is much more interesting. My savings are limited, so during the review period, you'll have to endure some hardship with me.”

Ying Sisi almost couldn't suppress the upturn of her lips. Having a good house and a man to support her?

How could that be considered hardship?

It was incredibly fortunate!

Blissfully happy, like a beautiful dream.

She immediately declared, “It's not hardship. Being with you, even eating gruel is happiness.”

Qin Yanci laughed heartily. He promised, “I will do my best to ensure you live a good life in the future.”

“Okay.”

"."

After lunch, Ying Sisi separated from Qin Yanci under the pretense of having things to do at home. On the way, she secretly opened the red envelope.

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 01

Chapter 01: Time Travel Needs Ritual They say that if you set the air conditioner to 16 degrees Celsius, light a candle, put an alarm clock in front of the candle, then sleep under a warm air conditioner blanket, and chant "Heaven and Earth are boundless, the cosmos is turned upside down," you can time travel?   Chen Fan came out of the bathroom after a drunken shower, remembering what his colleague, who was known for his mysterious ways and constantly mentioning the I Ching and esoteric arts (and nicknamed "Daoist"), had said during a drinking session.   Thinking about how he had been in an orphanage since he was 10 years old, and how he had only managed to get through college thanks to part-time jobs and his parents' inheritance, and how he had been working for years but still just a struggling wage earner renting a place in a suburban village, without any family support, it seemed like time traveling wouldn't be too bad. It wouldn't be worse than his...

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 13

Chapter 13: You Have a New Order Of course, Chen Fan wouldn't argue with Keeper Huang. He thanked him profusely. He had brought a big bag of sweet potatoes, free of charge, how could he not express his gratitude? After seeing Keeper Huang off, he really didn't dare close the door again, so he just left the door slightly ajar, at least that would provide some cover. He went back into the room. He didn't even touch the tea he poured for Captain Yang. He picked it up and felt it. The temperature was just right, so he took a big gulp. It tasted pretty good, what kind of tea is this? He stood up and lifted the lid of the teapot. He saw two large leaves floating inside, about the size of a baby's palm. It turned out to be “ one-horse tea ”. “One-horse tea” refers to a type of tea where a single leaf can be used to make a pot of tea. Some places also call it “ three-horse tea ”. These leaves are not actually tea leaves, but they are harvested from fresh “ HuBei Hawthorn ” lea...

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Acquiring a New Skill   Back in his room, Chen Fan continued reading, but after a while, he couldn't focus. His mind was filled with what Jiang Lili had just said.   The chickens were eaten, and they don't raise pigs.   Everyone else went home for the New Year, and they didn't leave anything good for that girl?   That's too much!   After a while, Chen Fan couldn't sit still, so he put down the book, got up and walked out.   He went to Jiang Lili's door and greeted her, "Hey, Xiao Jiang."   Jiang Lili immediately came over, "What is it?"   She paused, a strange look flashed in her eyes. She whispered, "Chen... Chen Fan, I want to ask you something."   Chen Fan was about to speak, but when he heard her say this, he smiled, "Ask away."   Jiang Lili curiously looked at him, "How old are you this year?"   Chen Fan blinked, guessing what she meant, and said, "Eighteen."   Sixteen, almost sevente...
