Chapter 05: A Girl's Aggressive Pursuit
Future sister-in-law?
Fu Qing Rui hastily tightened his grip on his phone, which was about to slip from his hand. He looked at Kong Yiyue with disdain, “I don't know if my brother has a girlfriend.”
Kong Yiyue's smile deepened, “Yeah, I'm not his girlfriend.”
Fu Qing Rui didn't believe her sudden change of heart. He sneered and said in a defiant tone, “There are countless people who want to be my sister-in-law. Who are you?”
“Well,” Kong Yiyue furrowed her brow slightly and thought for a moment.
Seeing that she was actually going to answer his question, Fu Qing Rui couldn't help but snort in his heart.
What's going on with that guy, Fu Jinting?
Just as he was thinking this, he saw Kong Yiyue raise her head and say with a radiant smile, “You mean, what number am I? I guess I'd be considered Fu Jinting's main wife.”

“Hey, you said you know my brother?”
Kong Yiyue nodded, “I do.” Her voice was filled with joy.
Just then, the elevator arrived. Fu Qing Rui stepped into the empty elevator first, smiled slyly, “From what I know about my brother, he doesn't like girls like you at all.”
Kong Yiyue followed him into the elevator and asked nonchalantly, “Is that so?”
Fu Qing Rui glanced at her arrogantly, “Do you know the Fu family's status and position?”
Kong Yiyue answered truthfully, “I do.”
Fu Qing Rui lazily drew out his words, “No wonder!” He paused deliberately, then continued, “You're interested in our family's wealth, aren't you? Or, you could say, you're interested in the assets behind my brother.”
Kong Yiyue stood quietly to the side, not arguing, a faint smile on her face.
Fu Qing Rui felt more confident about his inner guess, and became even more arrogant, “There are countless girls who want to marry into our family. My brother would fall for you? It's a complete fantasy!”
Kong Yiyue didn't get angry at all. Following his line of thought, she asked, “Then what kind of girls does your brother like?”
“My brother obviously likes noble ladies, with good temperament, good upbringing, and beautiful looks!”
Kong Yiyue agreed, echoing him, “So it's really those three criteria. Fu Qing Rui, don't worry, I'll work hard.”
Fu Qing Rui's mouth twitched, “Hey, do you even understand what I'm saying?” Halfway through his sentence, his phone rang.

She had been itching to do this ever since she first saw him.

Kong Yiyue naturally knew he disliked her inexplicable behavior. The smile on her face was gentle, making Fu Qing Rui shiver uncomfortably. “Brother!”

Fu Qing Rui was speechless. Did this woman really have something to do with Fu Jinting? If not, why would she dare to make the bold request for Fu Jinting to come and pick her up?
It's important to know that Fu Jinting hated waiting for people and picking them up. He had personally bothered his grandmother to get Fu Jinting to drive him back to the company in the morning!

“Ding!” The elevator door opened automatically.

Fu Jinting's face turned black. Without another word, he hung up the phone. It's Kong Yiyue again, a persistent ghost, and when did she get to know Fu Qing Rui?
Fu Jinting's mind raced, thinking: Is Kong Yiyue trying to forcefully enter his life? Hmph, she's delusional!
Fu Qing Rui stepped out of the elevator and saw that Kong Yiyue was following behind him without haste. He angrily said, “What are you following me for?”

Fu Qing Rui's expression darkened instantly. He turned around and looked at her with contempt, “Kong Yiyue, it's actually you who are making a strong move on my brother!”
Kong Yiyue pretended to ponder for a moment, then nodded seriously, “Who says it's not?”

After all, he's just a junior high kid. If she really wanted to argue with him, he wouldn't be a good opponent.

Fu Qing Rui had been staying behind Kong Yiyue to keep his distance, but unexpectedly, he saw this scene as soon as he stepped out of the building:
Fu Jinting, wearing white pants and a black jacket, was looking down at the girl who had her arms around his arm. The girl's body was leaning against his, her cheeks flushed, her eyes sparkling slightly, her soft long hair falling to her waist as she tilted her head up slightly. The handsome man and beautiful woman were gazing at each other in the bright sunlight. The scene unconsciously had a hint of romance.
Fu Qing Rui deliberately ignored the incongruous sharpness in Fu Jinting's eyes. It seemed like the two of them standing together were quite harmonious...
