Flash Marriage to a Crazy Rich Husband: I Shocked the World! - Chapter 03

Chapter 03: Disdain

“It's almost New Year's, and your grandmother has been wanting to see you. I'm going to take you to visit her. Change into some nicer clothes, and I'll take Yanci with me,” Song Hanmei said, already determined to prevent Ying Sisi from marrying Qin Yanci. Without waiting for Qin Yanci to speak, she arranged everything with a false smile.

As they leave the house, Song Hanmei whispers to Qin Yanci: “Sisi is the child of my husband's affair. She's never been to school, and she's completely clueless about city life. Unlike Yuwei, who graduated high school and has a good job. We were supposed to arrange the marriage for Yuwei, but she insisted on giving you to her sister. What do you think about all this?”

Qin Yanci is unimpressed. He scoffs: “Are your daughters all desperate to marry me? If so, then Sisi gets the top spot, and your manipulative daughter gets the scraps.” Qin Yanci is clearly not a fan of Song Hanmei. He's got a quick tongue and a bad attitude.

Song Hanmei's smile gradually disappeared, and her anger surged. “You…” She almost spat out the words, “You're insolent!”

But a voice interrupted her.

“Yuwei's mother, who is this young man?” A neighbor asked, eyes filled with admiration.

“Hello, Auntie, I’m Sisi's fiancé, Qin Yanci. I have something to do, so I’ll be on my way. You stay busy.” Qin Yanci left without hesitation.

The neighbor teases Song Hanmei: “You're so generous! You give away such a handsome and well-mannered fiancé instead of keeping him for your own daughter. You're a true angel!”

Song Hanmei is steaming. She's furious that Qin Yanci doesn't see Li Yuwei as the perfect match. She's going to make sure he regrets his choice. She goes home and takes her anger out on Ying Sisi.

“Why didn't you wash your pants? You can't even do a simple chore. You're always trying to seduce men. You're a sleaze!”  Song Hanmei is spitting venom. She's jealous and envious of Ying Sisi, and she's going to use every opportunity to put her down.

“You're a low-class, filthy little slut! Why should you have a chance at happiness when my daughter deserves him?” Song Hanmei is determined to make Ying Sisi's life a living hell.

How dare she steal her daughter’s fiancé?

She would absolutely not allow this vixen's child to marry better than her daughter.

Her eyes gleamed with a flash of cunning. “Take the gifts with me, we're going to your grandmother's to give gifts!”

Ying Sisi's eyes welled up with tears from the injustice. Since coming to this family, she hadn’t had a moment of peace. This woman still wasn't satisfied with her. She really wanted to fight back, but thinking about her situation as a dependant, she could only swallow her tears. Her voice choked with emotion as she responded, “Yes.”

Song Hanmei gave her a disgusted look. Weak and timid, a complete country bumpkin.

She couldn't understand what kind of taste Qin Yanci had.

He dared to make her daughter the concubine? She would make sure he wore a green hat before he even got married, and see if he still wanted Ying Sisi then.

Ying Sisi followed Song Hanmei to the Song family. From afar, she heard Li Yuwei's voice, sweet and seductive:

“Grandma, I want to spend New Year's with you this year~”

“You're so grown up now, you’re still so clingy.”

As soon as Ying Sisi entered, she saw Li Yuwei clinging to Song Lao Tai Tai's arm, swaying back and forth, and couldn't help but feel envious.

“Yuwei, why are you here?” Song Hanmei asked in surprise.

“What do you mean, can't Yuwei come to see me?” Song Lao Tai Tai frowned.

Song Hanmei quickly denied, “I was afraid she would be noisy and disturb your rest.”

Song Lao Tai Tai snorted, her eyes squinting as she looked Ying Sisi up and down. “Is this that Sisi girl?”

Ying Sisi disliked Song Lao Tai Tai's gaze. It was as if she were a commodity waiting to be priced and sold.

“Yes, Sisi, call her Grandma,” Song Hanmei said.

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 01

Chapter 01: Time Travel Needs Ritual They say that if you set the air conditioner to 16 degrees Celsius, light a candle, put an alarm clock in front of the candle, then sleep under a warm air conditioner blanket, and chant "Heaven and Earth are boundless, the cosmos is turned upside down," you can time travel?   Chen Fan came out of the bathroom after a drunken shower, remembering what his colleague, who was known for his mysterious ways and constantly mentioning the I Ching and esoteric arts (and nicknamed "Daoist"), had said during a drinking session.   Thinking about how he had been in an orphanage since he was 10 years old, and how he had only managed to get through college thanks to part-time jobs and his parents' inheritance, and how he had been working for years but still just a struggling wage earner renting a place in a suburban village, without any family support, it seemed like time traveling wouldn't be too bad. It wouldn't be worse than his...

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 13

Chapter 13: You Have a New Order Of course, Chen Fan wouldn't argue with Keeper Huang. He thanked him profusely. He had brought a big bag of sweet potatoes, free of charge, how could he not express his gratitude? After seeing Keeper Huang off, he really didn't dare close the door again, so he just left the door slightly ajar, at least that would provide some cover. He went back into the room. He didn't even touch the tea he poured for Captain Yang. He picked it up and felt it. The temperature was just right, so he took a big gulp. It tasted pretty good, what kind of tea is this? He stood up and lifted the lid of the teapot. He saw two large leaves floating inside, about the size of a baby's palm. It turned out to be “ one-horse tea ”. “One-horse tea” refers to a type of tea where a single leaf can be used to make a pot of tea. Some places also call it “ three-horse tea ”. These leaves are not actually tea leaves, but they are harvested from fresh “ HuBei Hawthorn ” lea...

Transmigration in 1977 - Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Acquiring a New Skill   Back in his room, Chen Fan continued reading, but after a while, he couldn't focus. His mind was filled with what Jiang Lili had just said.   The chickens were eaten, and they don't raise pigs.   Everyone else went home for the New Year, and they didn't leave anything good for that girl?   That's too much!   After a while, Chen Fan couldn't sit still, so he put down the book, got up and walked out.   He went to Jiang Lili's door and greeted her, "Hey, Xiao Jiang."   Jiang Lili immediately came over, "What is it?"   She paused, a strange look flashed in her eyes. She whispered, "Chen... Chen Fan, I want to ask you something."   Chen Fan was about to speak, but when he heard her say this, he smiled, "Ask away."   Jiang Lili curiously looked at him, "How old are you this year?"   Chen Fan blinked, guessing what she meant, and said, "Eighteen."   Sixteen, almost sevente...
